| Horam Manor Fishery lies approximately half way between Heathfield and Hailsham on the A267 in East Sussex. As you
drive through the village of Horam you will seen a signpost for
Horam Manor at the entrance to the Recreation ground. Go into the
recreation ground past the caravan park until you come to the car
park near the tea rooms (**seasonal). Two of the lakes are situated
either side of the car park and there are directions to the other
lakes. Pay for tickets at the car park. Some of the lakes are quite
a distance from the car park so they might be unsuitable for
disabled fishermen. Session fisherman can arrange a lift with their gear to a number of lakes holding the bigger fish. Finally this fishery is run on a conservational basis and most of the ponds / lakes are surrounded by trees with a very peaceful atmosphere. There are very few marked pegs so most of the fishing is from the bank. The fishery holds some very good fish for those seeking a new PB and for those who want an all round "guaranteed to catch " day out then this is the fishery. note CLEARHEDGES IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION AT PRESENT: The complex also has a caravan / camping site and touring park.
