| WHERE IS IT: Mill Farm Fishery is situated just off the A29 at Bury about 3 miles South of Pulborough in West Sussex. You should leave Pulborough on the A29 and head toward Chichester. Pass through Watersfield and take the right turn onto the B2138 signposted Fittleworth and Petworth and look out for a turning on the left signposted Burton. The entrance to the fishery is approximately 300 yards on the left. Mill Farm Fishery has been established for over 16 years and is owned by an enthusiastic conservationist. Consequesntly the lakes have been developed with both fishermen and wildlife in mind. With the facilities available this is an ideal venue for Anglers to take their family for a relaxing days pleasure fishing or alone and look to catch Carp upto 30lbs. There are 3 lakes, Mill Pond (3 acres) Hammer Pond( predominately match) and Specimen Lake(4 acres). The Anglers Lodge is situated in front of the 3 lakes by the car park and has a large veranda with views over the lakes. The lodge has seating and facilities to make coffee, tea and a microwave oven to heat food. Bait and tackle are not sol;d on site but can be obtained from Carringdale Motors which is about half a mile away on the A29. |
