However a brief description is generally head for the village
of Barns Green near Coolham West Sussex. If approaching from the North proceed through the
village and cross over a small bridge over a stream. Shortly
after this you will come to a sharp bend and you will see a sign on the right for Slaughterford Farm.
Turn into the farm and follow this track to the end of the Farm Buildings
and turn left into the car park you will find the large and small
pond in front of you. From the South: Cross over the
the railway Crossing and as you go round a sharp right hand
bend you will see the sign for Slaughterford Farm on the left and
proceed as before. Note the match lake is open to day ticket but
check with the warden first. This lake is situated through a signed
gate before you turn into the car park. Set in the peaceful West Sussex countryside this is a delightful spot for a fishing holiday and a bit of sightseeing. Some caravans are situated around the large lake. See details below.*** |
